Steve W. “Tex” Harden of Red Oak passed away Jan. 28, 2012. He was born in Columbus, Indiana, the son of Samuel & Lucinda (Robertson) Harden. He proudly served his country with the US Army, serving in Special Forces and turning in three tours of duty in Vietnam. He was awarded three purple hearts and two bronze stars. He was an avid reader and loved his family & pets. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Susie Harden; daughter, Tonia Dee Miklas; sons, David Wayne Harden, Rob Harden, Willie Harden & Jeffrey Andrew Harden; grandchildren, Christopher & Ava; brothers, Ancel Harden & Eric Harden; sister, Debra Harden. Funeral Service is 10 AM Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel Duncanville. Burial will follow at DFW National Cemetery.   (send flowers)
