Patricia Ann Neece

Patricia Ann Neece, of Weatherford, Texas died Monday, July 19, 2010 at Angel House in Bedford, Texas after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Pat was born on September 2, 1928 at her family home, which was Northwest of Cotter, Iowa. She was the daughter of Jarrett and Alice (Isom) Peters. She married Gerald C. Neece on April 28, 1951. She loved to read, garden, play the slot machines and spend time with her family and friends. In her professional life, Pat was a Registered Nurse and graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Davenport, Iowa in 1950.
Pat is survived by her children Pam Bittner and Mike Neece; son-in-law Darjon Bittner and daughter-in-law Neisha Neece; grandchildren Kristi (Jeremy) Hill, Drew Neece, Shanna McMahan and Pierce Bittner; great grandchildren Sydney Hill and Logan Hill; sisters, Karen Pierce, Sharon (Jerry) Maple, Sadie (Nick) Gevock; and brother Danny (Anita) Peters; sisters-in-law Janet Peters, Alma Peters and Helen Neece; many nieces nephews; and wonderful, caring friends and relatives. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Neece; parents, two brothers, 3 brothers-in-law and grandson Marcus McMahan.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, July 22, 20010 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville, TX. Additional funeral services will follow on Saturday at 1:00 PM at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, in Davenport, Iowa. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Davenport Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dignity House, c/o All Star Hospice, 1032 West Pioneer Pkwy, Suite 200, Arlington, TX 76013.

Alice Margaret Jungklaus Daum
July 19, 2010

This precious soul was lent to us by our Heavenly Father on April 15, 1929 and was called home into the loving hands of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 19, 2010, ending her 9-year struggle with post traumatic brain injury. Alice’s indomitable spirit produced a rare light that has shown so brightly into every aspect of her life. She was brilliant in her ongoing academic studies, producing scholastic honors in fields of English education and physician’s assistant. Her strong but gentle, kind and loving spirit was evident as wife, mother, grandmother, friend and mentor. She was involved in her Lutheran Church by serving in illiteracy, confirmation & Sunday school programs and a 2-month missionary trip to China. From her upbringing of being raised on a farm in Concordia, Missouri, she was instilled with an enduring excellence extending into her every pursuit from household, gardening, sewing, quilting, upholstering and woodworking.
Alice was born to parents Walter & Edna Jungklaus, given unto marriage to Werner F. Daum on October 14, 1948 and has 3 children; David, Paul & Katy, along with 5 grandchildren; Lindsay, Jeremy, Brian, Karl & Zachary.
Her final earthly resting place will be the Lutheran Cemetery in Independence, Kansas with Graveside Services Monday, July 26, 2010, 10:00 AM. .
Her Funeral Service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Grand Prairie, TX on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville.
In the hearts of all those she touched in her 81 years, her light will continue to shine brightly even as our hearts ache with her loss.

C. E. Patton, Jr.
July 18, 2010

Rev. C.E. Patton was called home to the Lord at age 84, on July 18, 2010. C.E. Patton was born on Christmas Day, 1925 in Tiara, TX. C.E. is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Fay Smith Patton; parents, Charles Emory Patton, Sr. and Isadora Patton; brothers, Daryl Risley, Billy Patton and Manford Patton; sisters, Margie Smith and Betty Slocumb. He has joined his son, Jerry Don Patton, in heaven. He is remembered in this life by his two daughters, Brenda Landrum and Charla Rice and husband, Mickey; his grandchildren, Renee Early, Jon Early, James Landrum, Amy Howell, Bo Howell and Julie Rice; he is blessed with four great-grandchildren, Briana Landrum, Kaylyn Early, Jonathan Early and Analisa Howell; one great-great grandchild, Haylee Jane Early; he is also survived by his brother, Richard Patton; and sisters, Rosie Bolton, Glenzelle Melton and Elizabeth Patton. Funeral services are 10:30 AM, Wednesay, July 21, 2010 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel. Visitation with the family is 6-8 PM, Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel.

Edwin L. Hutcheson
July 15, 2010

1945 ~ 2010
Age 65, a resident of Cedar Hill, Texas, passed away July 15. 2010. He was raised in Grove City, PA, and moved to Duncanville, TX in 1979. Edwin married Karon Emory Bailey July 18, 1987. He and Karon moved to Cedar Hill that same year. He retired in 2001 from the printing industry as an estimator. Edwin is survived by his wife, Karon; children, Charles (Chaz) and Margaret (Peggy) Hutcheson; step-daughters, Peggy & Victoria Bailey; grandsons, Trey & B.J. Johnson; brother, Richard Hutcheson of Grove City, PA; an aunt, Ruth Shaw of Winter Park, Florida; and several cousins and loving friends. Services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 21 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Duncanville. Burial will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery in DeSoto, TX. Visitation is 7-9 pm Tuesday, July 20, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel.

Erin Diane Land
July 12, 2010

On July 12, 2010, Erin Diane Land completed her life on this earth and began her eternal life with Jesus Christ. She was born August 13, 1968 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Despite a lifelong battle with renal failure, having survived four kidney transplants, Erin was a dedicated animal lover, dog rescuer and pet advocate. She was a member of Overcoming Faith Christian Church in Arlington, Texas. She received a BS degree from Judson College, Marion, Alabama, and a Masters in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. She is survived by her mother, Judy Land of Duncanville, Texas, father and step mother, C. B. and Sarah Land of Arlington, Texas, brother, Kelly Land of Duncanville, grandmother, Mozelle Cross of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and numerous other relatives, aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends, and her beloved pets and loyal companions who gave her reason and inspiration to live day by day, “Meeka and River”. M. Loyd Fuller
July 9, 2010

M. Loyd Fuller, age 83, went to be with the Lord while surrounded by his family July 9, 2010. He was a native of Dallas, TX and was born there July 30, 1926 to James & Maxine Fuller of Oak Cliff. Loyd graduated from Adamson High School in Oak Cliff and attended SMU. He was a veteran of WWII and served in the Pacific Theatre. Loyd was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Cedar Hill. He was the owner of M. Loyd Fuller Insurance Agency in Oak Cliff for 40 years until his retirement. He was an active member of the International Rescue and First Aid Association for many years and the Masonic Lodge for 65 years. Loyd is survived by his wife of 39 years, Darlene; three step-daughters, Sandy Hudson & husband Frank of Calvert, Susan Bishop of Mesquite, Vicki Masters & husband Curtis of Plano; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Monday, July 12, 2010 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Little Bethel Memorial Park in Duncanville. Visitation with the family is 4-6 PM, Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Jaynes.

Anna Mae Ball
July 9, 2010

Anna Mae Ball, 68, of Duncanville, Texas, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, July 9, 2010. Ms. Ball was born April 14, 1942, in Wichita, Kansas, to Charles and Vivian Coon. She graduated from Bluemound High School in Bluemound, Kansas, and college in Pittsburg, Kansas, with a degree in Education. She was united in marriage to Mr. Robert Ball in June of 1964. They have resided in Duncanville, Texas, for the last thirty six years. She was a loving wife and mother and volunteered for many organizations. Survivors include: Robert Ball of Duncanville, Texas; daughters, Julie Soto and husband Pete of Stephenville, Texas, and Paula Cooper and her husband James of Midlothian, Texas; grandchildren, Christopher Melton of San Angelo, Texas, and Bostyn and Britysh Brashears and Clayton Cooper of Midlothian, Texas; and a sister, Nancy Stewart and husband Stan of Paola, Kansas. Visitation with the family in Duncanville will be 6-8 pm, Monday, July 12, 2010, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel. Visitation with the family in Missouri will be 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm, Friday, July 16, at Konantz-Warden Funeral Home in Lamar, Missouri. Graveside funeral services are 2:00 pm, Friday, July, 16, 2010, at Liberal City Cemetery in Liberal, Missouri.

Judge Poole Brackin, Jr.
July 8, 2010

Judge Poole Brackin, Jr born August 4, 1923 to Judge Poole Brackin, Sr and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Brackin. Judge married Annie Mae (Lindsey) Brackin daughter of Samuel and Bertha Mae Lindsey February 23, 1950. During their 60 years of marriage they were blessed with three children, their daughter Patricia and her husband Jeffrey Downing of Dallas, Texas, their son Judge P. (Jim) Brackin, III of Grapevine, Texas and their other son Brady Brackin and his wife Deborah of Mesquite, Texas. They have five grandchildren, Tammy Bobien, Kelly Wilson, Dena Brackin, Nikki Brackin, and Joshua Brackin, and three great-grandchildren Dustin Wilson, Kenzie Bobien and Mason Livermore. Judge worked as an ironworker for US Steel and retired in 1973 after 33 years of service. Judge and Ann lived in Montevallo, Alabama for 27 years and were staying with their son Brady and his wife Deborah in Mesquite, TX at time of death.

Age 83 of Duncanville, passed away July 3, 2010. She was born January 4, 1927 in Dallas. Jean is survived by her son, Ron Keyser of Fredricksburg, TX; daughter, Vickie York of Kemp, TX; grandchildren, Christy & Robert Downing of Spiro, OK, Scott & Jenny Henley of Frisco, TX, Angie & Todd Hubbard of Mansfield, TX; 5 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Keyser. A Graveside Service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, July 6 at Little Bethel Memorial Park in Duncanville; Jeff Conrad officiating. Stewart Yates, beloved father, ardent Christian, and long time Duncanville, Texas, resident, went to be with the Lord, Sunday morning June 27, 2010, at the age of 91. He follows in death his adoring wife, Evelyn. He is survived by son, Ronald Yates, daughter, Carol Baggett, and daughter, Linda Evans; grandchildren, Khalin Zadwick and Matthew Evans; great-grandchildren, Judah Zadwick and Elijah Zadwick; and a brother, Hubert Yates. Viewing will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday, June 29, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville. Graveside services are 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at Little Bethel Memorial Park, 1803 S.
